Genomic Inquiries
Bulk RNA-seq measures the average gene expression levels across a pooled population of cells (representing the general tissue average), making it highly effective for identifying overall differences between treatment cohorts. Single-cell RNA-seq measures expression in individual cells, enabling researchers to discover rare cell subpopulations, annotate developmental trajectories, and analyze cell-specific responses within a heterogeneous tissue environment.
